Funzo Ojo Anyone
Personally see it as a cracking signing.
1.) 30 Jun 2019 10:17:25
seems Ojo not working out
Is it true Hibs speaking to Mulumbu's agent (apparently Lennon given him the heave)?
2.) 02 Jul 2019 06:18:16
Yeah i think the Ojo deal is dead, as for Mulumbu, i don't think we are talking to his agent, don't get me wrong i hope we do, but i do think its only one of they “hope this happens†rumours.
3.) 11 Jul 2019 17:26:09
Ojo deal back on (not on a free now) but the "sheep" are in there. after they failed to do a deal with McGeouch on salary split with Sunderland for a loan.
4.) 11 Jul 2019 20:04:27
Looks like the ojo deal back on.
31 Aug 2017 20:31:37
Henderson Deal Nearly over the line.
1.) 01 Sep 2017 01:08:13
Hendo deal surprises me a good source said it was all but done what could have gone wrong.
2.) 01 Sep 2017 11:53:51
The fact that it was another piece of made up journalism from the scum rag the sun probably gives you your answer.
11 Aug 2017 13:38:47
Tomo you heard anything regarding Rooney. It's starting to do the rounds again and rumour had it the sheep wouldn't let him go until they signed another striker and now they've signed Stevie may
I still fancy Louis Moult.
1.) 11 Aug 2017 15:08:51
Wether it be Rooney moult may or any other striker at 300k -500k hibs can match Aberdeen for up front spend but won't break their wage structure, that's why we are failing at last hurdle with these signings, Petrie holds the purse strings and isn't prepared to gamble on anyone player, this includes loan signings Christie Henderson Stewart are all out our range, ambrose has took a massive wage cut to get back in the window as stokes has done
Rooney with 2/ 3 years left on contract is exactly what we're up against .
up front 300k fine
weekly wage? It's not happening.
2.) 12 Aug 2017 13:57:35
As Iv said from day dot Petrie is the Bain of our existence. No ambition. Are you sure Rooney has that amount of time left?
{Ed007's Note - Rooney's contract with Aberdeen runs until 2020.}
3.) 12 Aug 2017 22:32:34
We signed Murray, Stokes and big Deity. I can't see us breaking the bank for Rooney when he'll still be their first choice up front with May alongside.
4.) 13 Aug 2017 18:18:40
Thanks for clarifying Ed no chance of a signing but hey we're the second best team in the league without him.
{Ed007's Note - Cracking result yesterday :-D It should be a good fight between you and the Sheep for second this year.}
08 Aug 2017 00:20:53
Can't quite put my finger on it but there's something missing from this Hibs team and I don't know what maybe it's a strong holding midfielder someone like Matty Jack, or a frank sauzee. Don't get me wrong Bartley is doing a wonderful job but I want to see big, strong you know what I'm saying. Maybe I'm wrong but there's just something stopping this team from being very special. Anyone agree or disagree?
1.) 08 Aug 2017 03:00:45
Big Marv is a beast of a guy but he's not really a footballer.
He's the strong workhorse doing the thankless task that allows the others to go about winning us games.
I understand what you mean, I think it's coming together more now than it was over the last couple of seasons - fitness was the main thing we seemed to lack for the longest time but Lennon's getting that into the squad now.
Fraser Murray will be the one that has the next big thing tag placed on him if he stays fit and in-form.
He links up and gets into scoring positions a lot like Latapy did, just doesn't necessarily beat players as easily.
We're coming together as a squad and that's the most valuable aspect for me, too often we've relied on one or a few players to come up with something brilliant to win is games and it's cost us against organised sides.
Now we're looking drilled, balanced and a threat from various positions and it's looking bright with other options still to gel with the squad.
2.) 08 Aug 2017 09:23:24
I was at Alloa a couple of weeks ago and saw the Lithuanian midfielder. He was given 20 mins and was outstanding. Made good runs and was very physical. I reckon he will do the business.
He never gor much chance on Saturday, but I have been following Hibs since 1972, and in my opinion, and its only my humble opinion, this is one of the best squads we have had for a long long time.
3.) 08 Aug 2017 14:47:09
I don't think big Marv will play most of the games anyway
If we play 3 centre halfs and 2 attacking full backs he's not needed in all games, mcgeouch will fill the roll of sitting mid.
4.) 08 Aug 2017 23:09:28
Agreed.
We may not have standout name/ s but this squad is simply of a higher level overall than we've had for some time and they all want to play and enjoy their football together.
It's kicked up a notch or two with the right personalities coming in.
I'm genuinely excited to see what we can do at Ibrox this weekend with Sevco barely squeaking a win over Well.
If we turn up like we have done so far and deal with the crowd it could be a big result for us. We've nothing to fear having beaten them there a couple of times and at Hampden and they're far from a polished side.
I'm trying to temper my enthusiasm but it's difficult.
5.) 11 Aug 2017 13:36:53
If big marvs no a footballer u tell him, then go get the ball off him.
03 Jul 2017 12:29:48
Stevenage striker Matt Godden anyone.
Heard a snippet we've had him looked at.
1.) 03 Jul 2017 12:48:53
Came thru non league, 20 goals, 33 games last season. 6'1" Big lad.
2.) 03 Jul 2017 12:56:50
failed at Scunthorpe, went non league and scored goals for fun, got 6 months in july 16 with Stevenage. Then signed 2 year deal in December 16 'cos they were so happy. scored 12 in 12 at one point early this year, don't think we stand a chance.
3.) 03 Jul 2017 13:51:07
Wikipedia is a wonderful thing. No chance any of you lads know anything about the guy. I could have read that all by myself lol Worth a punt? . I think so.
4.) 03 Jul 2017 13:53:42
What do you mean failed?
5.) 03 Jul 2017 15:56:18
my (wiki) cousin saw him score the winner at a really crap game at Accrington on his birthday last November. Energetic, runs in behind a lot, pretty quick - probably fancies himself as the next Jamie Vardy. nuff info?
6.) 03 Jul 2017 17:24:58
Worth a punt if he's going to be cheap enough but we need someone willing to mix it with defenders at least some of the time too.
7.) 03 Jul 2017 18:42:52
Watched his 20 goals last season on youtube looks like a decent prospect at 24 year old. Six foot plus and mobile hopefully we do follow this one up as lots of clubs are looking at him which is a good sign. Sizeable transfer fee required which might be the stumbling block but we can only hope Lennon gets the purse strings opened.
8.) 03 Jul 2017 20:33:03
We still have Graham as leverage for this stuff - he'd score some goals in League 2 I would think if any of them would take him.
9.) 03 Jul 2017 23:57:59
We can but hope!
10.) 04 Jul 2017 18:52:32
I have to agree Big L Brian Graham hasn't lived up to expectations and no-one on here has mentioned him as a possible option for the upcoming campaign which really says it all. If Graham could be used to influence a possible deal for Godden it would make sense for the club and in all honesty the player himself.
11.) 04 Jul 2017 22:38:21
I've been suggesting we try and use him to sweeten a deal for any and every striker mentioned on here because he just doesn't fit the way we're trying to play at all and isn't mobile enough to keep up with the players he plays in behind opposing full-backs to get on the end of crosses.

Louis moult on target again for Motherwell. 18 goals a season for the last two surely worth a punt. Motherwell knocked back £250,000 from the Huns surely we can nip in. This lad will score another 18-20 goals this season. Barring in mind it was a gash Motherwell team over the last two seasons he's still doing the business.
1.) 06 Aug 2017 18:20:14
Simon Murray will score more goals than him this season.
2.) 06 Aug 2017 21:33:20
I agree with both of you. I wanted Moult to play along side Murray. I think they would have been a very potent partnership. If you bring him now, who drops out? Stokes or Murray. I wouldn't swap Moult for Murray.
3.) 07 Aug 2017 19:38:25
Murray hasn't proven he can score 1 in 2 in top league yet.
He has the potential to score 20 but should we really risk not getting another forward?
Stokes was rubbish last time he played in league for us so no reason why he'll suddenly be good. The fact he was useless in league but tried 110% in cup final just makes it look like a terrible attitude. I appreciate his cup final performance but there are 38 SPL games with only 4 against the team he hates.
02 Aug 2017 15:31:01
Well I'm not a stokes fan but he's here waring the green and white so he'll get my full support. I just hope Lennon can get him concentrating on football instead of his other shinanagins we will see a good player.
15 Oct 2016 19:22:52
I can't ever remember Hibs having a discipline problem in the past, I genuinely don't think lennons got a clue although I hope I'm wrong, far to many players getting sent off and it's costing us, 1 shot on target against an average team and we're supposed to be running away with the league just ain't good enough.
07 Aug 2016 14:40:26
I don't hear all you Cummings dislikes asking to get rid of him today. The lad has started off where he finished last season
He's a winner in anyone's book.
19 Feb 2016 05:18:52
I wonder if Celtic will be be after mcginn after his magnificent performances for us, it makes my blood boil that Scott Allan, Stuart armstrong and the rest of these lads that went to Celtic knowing quite well they weren't getting s game, hopefully Henderson will see the big picture and put in. Transfer request, here's a list of Celtic midfielders, would you sign for them?
Scott Allan
Ryan Christie
Stuart Armstrong
Gary Mackay-Steven
Callum McGregor
Stefan Johansen
Kris Commons
James Forrest
Tom Rogic
Derk Boerrigter
Patrick Roberts
Joe Thomson
Scott Brown
Nir Bitton
Kristoffer Ajer
Aidan Nesbitt
Liam Henderson.
1.) 19 Feb 2016 14:37:54
Great post!It seems there board have decided to buy up all the young talent to give them a great team in the future on the cheap. They could of course buy him and leave him with us for a season. Maybe chuck us an oldie or two like Scott Brown etc
2.) 22 Feb 2016 10:46:13
Hand in a transfer request??the last player that done yese where going nuts pot n kettle!!
3.) 22 Feb 2016 12:19:59
If henderson did ask for a transfer Celtic could say no!! Just like we did when Sa asked for one. What we wouldn't do was continue to upset the club the player and the fans like your lot did! The worse thing that came out of that for me was your DiK chairmens comment about Celtic doing you lot a favour, he has not a bit of class in his body!!class
28 Aug 2021 16:36:09
Absolute Joke. one of the best centre halves in the league last year and hibs go back to their usual self and try to get him for peanuts.
Surely he’s worth more.
27 Aug 2020 09:02:07
No i don’t have inside info when i do i post it but i don’t post for the sake of it unlike you.
You said two weeks previous the deal would be done on the monday, you were clearly wrong again, seems to be a bit of a pattern emerging.
17 Aug 2020 09:20:32
Well it’s now the 17th and nowt
another duff piece of info.
12 Oct 2019 17:01:35
Jc you seem to be fairly clueless in a lot of your posts. Sorry I shouldn’t say clueless i should just say young and naive. You keep going on about Stubbs. Just incase you weren’t old enough to remember 2016 when Stubbs was manager or maybe you’ve just forgot, what ever the reason the league position and football under Stubbs was poor, as poor as any manager we’ve had. Yes he won the cup and I’ll be eternally grateful and the boys a legend in my eyes for winning the cup however the league and that form was poor. Very poor. He’s also never cut it anywhere he’s went and don’t forget he got sacked from St Mirren so why on earth would you want him at Easter Road.
17 Jul 2019 10:06:59
I do agree with you to an extent however there is gems out their. Gary Hooper went to Celtic from Scunthorpe, John McGinn st Mirren, Ivan sproule institute amateur team.
Hibs should be cherry picking that’s for sure. Having said that I do agree the performances haven’t been good enough. I think the manager came in and stedied a sinking ship so for that reason I’ll give him time.
I’m really hopeful these players are stepping stones to better things.
I agree with you m8 but the facts are were Hibernian F. C & we shouldn't be playing in the second division on a public park, we were once one of Europe's great teams do surely it's not hard to ask that we have a team capable of competing in any league, wise up m8 our team are gash & I'm telling you it's completely unacceptable
I agree quality over quantity all day long, only thing is with our position & our record with managers Stubbs better watch out, he might not have the time he possibly thinks he has.
Couldn't agree more the guys a clown.
Paul Kane would be excellent the boys a Hibs man through. & through. Only problem is Paul is as tight as Petrie, Iv never once had a free beer in any of his lavish establishments lol. Come on Paul you know your a tight ass
Crackin post Ed I can't stop laughing, where do you get them, the other posters right maybe muller would push for a place, mental
