Heckingbottom has been sacked. Who would you like to see as his replacement?

1.) 04 Nov 2019 17:25:31
Someone who knows Scottish football.

2.) 04 Nov 2019 18:06:11
After last week chat, Jack Ross must be odds on favourite.

But tell you what wee Gordy frae Muirhouse would jump at the chance.

3.) 05 Nov 2019 15:21:37
Ian Murray? Loves the club. Played with a few of the players. Doing a good job in a competitive League One. Only 2 points off top. And! Only 2 draws in the league. A manager that clearly goes for it in every game.

4.) 05 Nov 2019 23:21:15
We take moyes but think he's already ruled himself out so jack Ross hate Strachen but can still do a job.

5.) 06 Nov 2019 09:29:46
Ian Murray? Write a list of successful Hibs men coming in as managers and didn't get sacked.

I agree totally with Budge. We too need a well known, experienced manager that will offer stability and will get respect when he walks through the door. Since Alex Miller left, our managers, good and bad have lasted an average of 2yrs.
Thats just ridiculous. Buy in a raft of players, dump the manager, release players, bring in more players. The fees and release payments from 14 managers would have paid for the South Stand.

Ask wee Gordon. If he turns it down get him to help find a senior manager who's bored playing golf and watching day time TV. We need experience, respect and stability.

Do you think Ross, formerly, St Mirren would do a good job.

1.) 31 Oct 2019 17:01:28
I mentined it on banter soon as he was let go would prob get mcgeoch back as players no he's decent instead of guys like dodgy.

2.) 31 Oct 2019 19:32:40
Jamie Fowler (Ross No.2) at most places has been chatting about move back home to Central Belt, no smoke without fire.

Wouldnt mind if they brought not just McGeouch but also McNulty back!

3.) 05 Nov 2019 13:09:34
If wee could afford Strachan that would be good, if not Robinson at Motherwell or Ross. As previous posters said it would be good to see McGeogh back.

4.) 05 Nov 2019 23:22:05
Jobs to big for Robinson stick to wee teams.

5.) 09 Nov 2019 12:41:10
mcgeoch still injury prone -brain moves quicker than his legs.

31 Oct 2019 13:05:13
Not Hibs rumours but Craig second bottom levein has been sacked.

1.) 31 Oct 2019 17:04:52

Heckingbottom is reported as saying that Hibs transfer is done for this window unless something unforseen happens. If true I'm disappointed that we are not going for omeonga or another striker.

1.) 19 Jul 2019 21:40:33
Not done yet mate. You heard it here first :)

17 Jul 2019 17:24:51
Hibs have signed midfielder Josh Vela from Bolton on a 3 year deal he will be our new number 6.

I hope Strachan doesn't get the job as the last thing we need is a grumpy wee know all who is well past his best. We need someone with up to date ideas.

28 Jan 2019 13:23:39
Whoever is in charge we need another striker and a centre back in this window. We only have 3 strikers and with Ambrose gone and Porteous out we are short at CB too. If we don't address this then we are only 1 injury or suspension away from a problem.

03 Jan 2019 15:01:20
We need a striker and a penalty box to penalty box midfielder. We could with a mini clear out too.

Strachan would be a bad choice even short term. He's yesterdays man and I can see him causing more fractures and hassle. Time for someone with new ideas not living in the past.

Any idea who the signings might be or which positions?

I obviously would rather he stayed but it seems Villa have met our asking price. Also soif he is going I'm glad it is not to another team in Scotland. Serves the soap dodgers right for trying to get him on the cheap.

Thanks for the replies. That's a shame he did a decent job last season. I know we are getting goals from all over the team but with Murray being sold I think we need at least one more forward. I heard we were interested in Adam Le Fondre any know of any other possible targets?
