Is anyone else wondering why we haven't spent any of the '7 figure' investment ( that we can spend on players ) to actually bring in some REAL quality that this team desperately needs!? .

maybe the board have their doubts on secondbottom, watched the re runs of our games, st Mirren, st Johnston, motherwell and Hamilton all look better than us, st Johnston will be ok with a striker and 3 of our ex fringe players.

and at least Hamilton managed a goal against motherwell players only giving 90 % its the extra 10% that gets goals and wins, btw hibsboy there is no argument we are easy to beat and not playing well nuff bad combo with average players and poor mngr get stubbs back and at least be watchable.

Agree Stubbs should be given another go. Obviously has his flaws but he created a cup winning team out of nothing and his teams always played the right way. Leeann will be reluctant to admit her mistake recruiting PH.

Hekky may be saying that business is done, however, should any injuries occur pre-season, he will still remain in the market until last day. That being said, I still think we are lacking some serious quality in those positions and I wouldn't be surprised to see a loanee or two, even if we can keep everyone fit before the league campaign.

Efe was the same player last night from the first half of our Scottish cup semi defeat to Aberdeen. Wants to many touches on the ball in dangerous areas and tries to step out of position to much. His confidence is great to watch when he's able to pull it off however he will get caught a fair few times over the course of the season. A great defender if he applied a bit more no nonsense to his game.

I never wanted to sign Lafferty but, so far he's been the best striker that Edinburgh has seen in years.
It's a shame you're not big enough for him and have to resort to a bench player (although, for wee teams Stokes will get plenty of game time)

Cup game is hard to watch. Hibs have been woeful! . Too many loose passes, not moving the ball quick enough, letting the ball bounce too often. Can't blame the weather for all of it either! .

Agree, He looks like he's got the lot in his locker, including goals from dead ball situations. Something else we've been lacking in too.

Have Him!, we've got better options and better quality up front anyway. Lenny won't be finished in the market either. Your going to need more than JC if you are to live up to the expectations of your fans. Time will tell I suppose. and when that time comes, I don't think you'll be back here with your unwound neck!
