Heard we are looking at Filipe Kiss, 6'1" def midfield player currently with Cardiff City [although been told he can leave if he finds a new club], was on loan at Ross County. Certainly looks the part. Would be a good signing IMo [Was shown round E/M last week and is thought to be signing on our return from Spain}.

Yeah I saw him at Ross county and looked the part, sure he scored a goal or two as well. What's your source? Hope your right I think he'd be the type of player that would benefit us.

Not claiming in any way to "be in the know" read it on Hibs.net and thought I'd pass it on. A few weeks ago a "ITK" poster on there did say a Championship based foreign midfield player who had experience in the SPL was shown round East Mains and was engaged in talks with us, he is usually spot on with his rumours but refused at that time to name the player concerned.

What a great signing we can only hope that encourages others to sign on the dotted line.
Much better hibs but we are far from havin the squad nessesarly to compete in the league.

I'm happy with him. But he can't actually be called a "great" signing, yet.
He's just a promising signing!

7.) Do remember people were saying Watmore & Boateng were great loan signings in January, then ended up flopping.
Although Allen is promising, be aware he's still a risk. {Ed017's Note - no such thing as a certainty but this lad can play.

To the guy about knowing where Scottish football is at - we know where it's at. We're just saying no need to go over the top about him. And there has actually been quite a few good signings by teams other than Celtic.

1.) No great point just watched greatest ever teams with the Lisbon lions playing hibs in the cup final superb colour of green shirt with white sleeves and a great hibs team that got beat but at least looked the part

Let me start off by saying I'm a little worried at the transfer activity that we've seen from ER so far. Like so many others I believe that we must get more players in before our first match against GR or I can see them making us look like a third division side.
We have a bunch of players that couldn't beat teams like st M, Partick, kids at hearts and Kilmarnock which in my opinion isn't good enough. So why are we going to be good enough this year? We have 2 players added to the squad who have a chance to do well but I just don't think that's anywhere near enough to mount a serious challenge and we may just end up having to deal with more embarresment.
We need players that can actually play the game!! Players that can take control of a game. Any things better that last season but I just can't see how wee going to be any different unless LD and friends get the cash out.
Like many other hibees I'm not willing to spend any more money at ER until they start spending the money me, my family and all the other amazing fans have given to them over the years. It works both ways.
Think we hibs fans have been through enough don't you?

Why would you want McFadden for starters? Please explain? In my opinion he was finished 2 year ago, I don't see what he'd bring. Yes we desperately need experience but surely we can find more suitable players

He's a big strong athlete who will compete with his physicality which is exactly what we need.

I agree withe the guy above. Oxleys not been convincing at all since he's been here. I'm no goal keeping expert but he seems he's not at a good enough standard. It would be nice to have a solid keeper at ER, for many years now we have lacked quality in goal. Bring on January hopefully Stubbs will get the green light for some signings. Hibeeees
