To the guy that was saying we should sack Stubbs before the season had started. He might be proved to be right if Hibs lose on Saturday.

Myself had said that if he didn`t get off to a flyer he could be out the door by October.

Would you take Stuart McCall now or wait till October if we`re sitting 10 points behind the ugly mob?

It's not Stubbs! it's the same as it's always been. No investment. Every seasons the same.

I agree 100% but you can see it coming a mile off.

There is never going to be any investment in the team because why would they, there`s no money in it for them. Farmer and Co would sell tomorrow if they were going to get a price they wanted but nobody wants to buy Hibs because you`re only going to lose money. There is no money in Scottish Football.

The frustrating thing is while we`re never going to compete with Celtic, we could with likes of Aberdeen and Hearts, that`s what gets me but they`re not interested.

Until there is REAL change at the club will Hibs manage to do something, as long as Rod and co are at ER then only mediocre is what we can aspire to be and at the moment that is better than what we are now.

25 yrs TF & RP have been in charge and what we really have to show for it is a new stadium and training ground, these facilities have cost us dearly in terms of selling players and a lack of investment in the team. They will argue that the fans have been given the opportunity to own a majority shareholding in the club and have failed to take it up, and that's true to an extent. I personally don't like the fact that even if the fans do fork out TF&RP will still be hanging around. Their have been rumours that a couple of people were interested in buying us but they were given short thrift or decided that TF was asking to much! I agree that new owners and some real investment in the team would be great, but I think TF&RP will get carried out of ER in a box before that happens. My fear is if we don't get up this year that they will cut their cloth to suit which will mean poor quality players coming in.
