I don't see Hibs paying the fee and wages Boyce could get elsewhere. Stokes is on good money but they want how keep him and he would want a pay off.

Hibs don't have the money for boyce or moult. So rule them both out. Hibs want stokes but unless he can agree a settlement with blackburn. no chance.

Don't understand why we don't have the money for Boyce or moult? They can't be on huge weekly wages at their respective clubs, £500,000 triggers boyces release clause and moult would be less,1.4 m for Cummings who cost us nothing, should be reinvested in either player or both, supporters last season and already this season have stood up to the plate it's time to keep the feelfood factor moving forward, and the board to reward the fans by matching then bettering our loyalty.

Both these players could play in the Eng Championship mid to lower teams. Probably pick up a minimum 6-7K a week. We won't pay that, plus RC want 500K and Well would be looking for more for Moult. Harston saying " Hibs shopping in the bargain basement " must have got that of Lenny!

Ross county turned down 500k. so would be 600k. Mwell would look for the same. Add into that the players wages. We know Stokes is on 8k a week at bburn so Boyce/ Moult would be just south of that if they went to english championship. 600k for player + 5k week wages = 860k. Not including agent fees, bonus, appearance money. Easy £1mil in a year. We don't have the financial muscle for that. Also its unsustainable. we would end up in a huge mess.

Maybe I'm confused but it's not 1 million a year because you only pay 600,000 once then £260,000 a year if Lennon thinks Celtic will win league and wants us to be the best of the rest, we need to think a pay bigger. The likes of ambrose Whittaker stokes commons all would need decent wages per week so hibs wage structure is definitely changing, I realise these players come without a signing on fee, but as I said, Cummings has to be replaced and at least one marquee signing would be nice.

I would like to see us push the boat out for one major signing, a striker could sell another 2,000 ST's. Maybe they are waiting to see if their's any action on McGinn. That would create the cash to bring in a decent striker!

£1mil in a year. The first season would cost roughly that is what i mean. I know it drops after as there is no fee to factor in. That kind of money is unsustainable. Give it to one player then they all want it. Look at the yams and the goons from glasgow. they both had money and look what happened. Talent i'd is the way forward. Just because a player costs a lot doesn't mean he will be great. NL will pull a rabbit out the hat and get us a quality replacement for JC. just don't expect boyce/ moult.
