Contact made regarding louis moult

No chance with Moult. Valuation to high for Hibs.

Notts forrest have also enquired about Mcginn and Hanlon. More to follow when i know more.

1.) 12 Jun 2017 16:56:29
Unless it's a significant amount of cash (hard currency) tell them where to go.

2.) 12 Jun 2017 18:51:30
Some of you need to calm down. Cummings goes? So what? He's not the first and he won't be the last. Can't believe the £1m price tag to be honest but if so grab it! There's no way Neil Lennon hasn't lined up replacements so let's get on with it. The Hanlon story by the way is total mince!

3.) 12 Jun 2017 19:43:42
Spot on.

4.) 12 Jun 2017 20:00:34
Falkirk after Stanton and Harris, we will probably have to pay a transfer fee to get them back in a couple of years.

5.) 12 Jun 2017 21:54:34
Harris is a free agent, so we can't have something back that didn't belong to us in the first place.

6.) 12 Jun 2017 21:54:45
Sounds like Warburton trying to get revenge, couldn't beat us so he's trying to buy our players! The rumour about McGinn and Hanlon to Forrest is growing legs, read it on another news site. I think we might lose McGinn, if we do I hope it's to Celtic, not to Forrest. We might get a couple of quality players in exchange!

7.) 12 Jun 2017 22:11:06
Harris did belong to us!

8.) 12 Jun 2017 22:25:17
So DID a lot of other players, as I've said before please do your homework before posting please.

9.) 12 Jun 2017 23:16:11
Harris was a Hibs player, he no longer plays for HiBS, we will probably have to pay a transfer fee to get him back. What part of that is to much for you to take in?

10.) 12 Jun 2017 23:36:15
Harris was pants got found out Cummings no lose with Danny coming in McGinn hope he doesn't go but in Lennon we trust I think that £1.4 m + is a great deal .

Is relegation such a bad thing? I'm sick of being bottom 6 (4 seasons on the bounce) fighting relegation. It's always doom n gloom. Are we not better off being competative in a lower division? We had huge crowds the season we went down. Does it really matter what league we're in? I know there is the tv revenue aspect but we pay hardly any money on wages as it is. And when we do pay a transfer fee. its wasted. look at the last 200k spent! Don't look at relegation as a bad thing. its a new start! Get rid of all the dross and play the u20's. Why not? Hearts have done it and our u20's are far better. let's start producing our own players again. Hibs fans have proven they get behind and support their own. We might be down for a couple of years but think of the bigger picture. The hearts fans won't desert their team. neither will we!

flyingwaitor

1.) The bigger picture is not putting up with this rubbish that we`ve been served up for years and getting Petrie out of Hibs.
Call yourself a Hibs fan, shame on you.

2.) I do call myself a hibs fan. that's why I said what I did. Petrie being out will make a difference. However getting the dross out will make a bigger difference. Did you actually read and understand what I wrote?

3.) Its not petrie's fault the players are guff! We pay more in wages than st johnstone ict and mwell. and they all do much better than us. The squad is toxic. The manager identifies the players he wants. The bigger picture is. we have the wrong owner the wrong chairman the wrong manager (of which there have been several)and the wrong players.

4.) I am sorry Mr Petrie I didn`t realise you came on to these Hibs pages.

5.) I actually don't think you've understood what the post is about. The chairman, manager and players are to blame. The only way forward is to get rid of them and play the youth. Develop our own players as anyone we sign is guff. what's so bad about that? {Ed017's Note - I would agree that introducing more of the under 20s to the first team would help move the club forward.

6.) Where do you get your information on wages? Your completely wrong. Hibs are one of the worst payers in the league & that's the sole reason were in this mess fact. The national football statistics state that the teams that pay the highest wages are the teams that are most successful. I E pay peanuts & get monkeys. As I keep harping on about Petrie & his band of thiefs are not interested in Hibs their only concern is balancing the books & to all it's quite obvious. Time for a massive clear out

7.) I get my information from Price Waterhouse Coopers. You can go looking for it if you want but take my word Hibs pay far more than inverness dundee utd st johnstone and motherwell. We pay more than partick kilmarnock st mirren and ross county. Hearts figures were very hard to work out due to their financial meltdown.
This means in the spfl only celtic and aberdeen (just) pay more in wages.

There are several players at east mains just now. Apart from the ones already mentioned. nobody of note. In my opinion. 4 more players will be signed. we know 2 but don't know the others.

£1mil in a year. The first season would cost roughly that is what i mean. I know it drops after as there is no fee to factor in. That kind of money is unsustainable. Give it to one player then they all want it. Look at the yams and the goons from glasgow. they both had money and look what happened. Talent i'd is the way forward. Just because a player costs a lot doesn't mean he will be great. NL will pull a rabbit out the hat and get us a quality replacement for JC. just don't expect boyce/ moult.

Ross county turned down 500k. so would be 600k. Mwell would look for the same. Add into that the players wages. We know Stokes is on 8k a week at bburn so Boyce/ Moult would be just south of that if they went to english championship. 600k for player + 5k week wages = 860k. Not including agent fees, bonus, appearance money. Easy £1mil in a year. We don't have the financial muscle for that. Also its unsustainable. we would end up in a huge mess.
