Stokes is coming back on a year loan and Whittaker will also b announced at same time, if they can get personal terms sorted with Luke berry all 3 will b paraded this week.

To be fair, a loan deal solves the problems of pay offs and let's Stokesy earn the same wage with Hibs paying an agreed %. I'm concerned about the amount of interest in Berry since we made an offer. Obviously his agent or Cambridge have leaked it. I hope we can agree a deal wi him, I think he's just what we need.

Good if true. Still think we need another striker on top of that, give us competition for places.

I'd rather we made sure of Berry and didn't bother with Stokes at all to be honest.

There's a long way to go until the window shuts but it's looking increasingly like Lenny is still struggling to sign strikers.

He struggled at Celtic to sign them with financial backing, he struggled at Bolton without it.

Holt did some of a job, Graham was gash (and we paid money for him) .
I hope Murray carries on where he left off but we need a reliable striker that isn't going to try for 15mins and then go missing for the rest of the game in the league (Stokes - he wouldn't even play up top as a 9 either, always preferred to drop deep as a 10 and would sulk and disappear if it didn't go his way) .
