Would kris commons signature be regarded as a marquee signing?
Coz I think it's happening folks.

Believable Tomo. But again going back to your comment earlier on about moving forward, how is this moving forward? there's a high chance he'll sign for one of the larger contracts we have to offer and we'll be lucky to get 15 games out of him next season. He's crippled with injurys in his thighs/ back. A lot of money for probably little return. Hendo should be top priority.

Thought it might happen when him and his missus and kids got back, he'll get more from us than the just coaching offer elsewhere.

It was a post to ask the hibs family what they thought about commons signing? I also think Henderson wod b a better option if he can't regain full fitness.

Defs agree would take Henderson over commons any day hope we try to pursuit that one.

Be better using money on strikers despite the fact I like commons just can't justify him and Whittaker over two strikers.

LD saying they are pursuing their core targets, I have to believe that inclues two strikers. Commons would have been a marquee signing 2 or 3 yrs ago, not now. It was a wee bit unfair to judge his performances when we had him on loan, he hadn't played for over a year, if he can get fit he might be able to do us a turn, but I'm not holding my breath!

Agreed, he looked useful by the time his loan was done despite lacking fitness.
With Swanny too it could be we end up playing one up top with those two pushing on from midfield.
