Don't think so - McGeoch has activated a clause that gives him the option of an additional year at Sunderland so that doesn't indicate a willingness to return to Hibs.
Might be a possible loan signing as Sunderland not that keen on him but very unlikely.
Really liked him as a player at ER but when is the last time he has played more than half a season at ANY club?

Rumor is Thompson is coming back to Hibs BUT in a coaching role.

Before everyone gets excited about this just look where he is scoring all these goals. Macclesfield are non-league and his parent club Srockport, also non-league, don't want him back.
Not an exciting pedigree and it is ridiculous to compare him to Griffiths.

Not going to happen - he has signed for an Austrian 2nd div. club.

Won't be playing for a contract as he is off to the U.S. in January.
To me, the final piece in the jigsaw is a big centre forward who will bang
in 20 plus goals this season especially in vital games.
Hopefully that will be Farid but with his previous injury problems doubt it.

He will always be remembered certainly for winning the cup.
Personally, I would have liked him to stay on but have lost a lot of respect for him and his assistant.
Yesterday morning he travelled to Rotherham, discussed terms and signed by tea time and still had time for an exclusive with the Sun. Not much regard for Hibs and the fans there.
Couldn't wait to sign and couldn't be bothered telling the Board, who have been very good to him, personally. Were they told by a quick phone call or did they hear of it in the news?
Also no public explanation and no thanks to the supporters.
Given the speed at which all this was done, do you think he had some prior knowledge maybe not directly but through agents?
Rotherham are a bottom end team in a highly competitive league so it will be interesting to see what he does.
Stubbs may have no loyalty but I used to think he would the good grace to praise and thank Hibs for the big chance they gave him.

I wouldn't get carried away unless you know something that everybody doesn't. Celtic have agreed terms with both Dundee Utd. and Hibs BUT Stokes has still to agree to either. Not a fab signing yet!

He has had problems going on loan before.
The thinking maybe is he will be near his family in Glasgow, where he was brought up, so this maybe will help him settle.
Hopefully, he will realise that his attitude has to change and that Chelsea, who
have been tolerant so far, will not persevere with him unless things change.
Great talent is one thing but it has to be coupled to dedication and determination if he wants to succeed.

As far as I understand it, it is a partial embargo which I think means that a a player has to leave before another comes in.
THey have just sold a player for £7.5m. so that gives a space plus a lot of cash
that could result in the embargo being lifted.
Like to see May at Hibs but be surprised if it happens.
