Today's man of the match, none other than the man himself FRASER FYVIE! What a player EH!

Tomo thinks his days are numbered, I say we've got one of the best midfields in the country. Hey ho just shows how people's opinions vary.

In the past two seasons we have signed some very good players, but I think that Shinnie could prove to be right up their with the best of them, he was a delight to watch yesterday. In the past we have struggled to break teams down, but this guy just adds a new dimension to our attacking play, great signing Neil Lennon.

Brian Graham looked very good and took his goal well too.

Was at the game and thought that the MOM award was sponsored by the blind society. Most played better than Fyvie. His distribution still poor. McGeough for Fyvie in Saturdays team looks our best starting eleven.

What game were you watching!? Fyvie was brilliant yesterday! His cross for the first goal was sublime and he made a goal saving block in the second half too! Considering it was his first game back since the beginning of July I thought he played very well! It's no coincidence that we played that way when he's back in the team, him and McGeouch make us tick!

Fyvie lacks consistency. When he wants to play he's decent. He won't give you 110% every week unfortunately but managers seem to give him the benefit of the doubt because he can be very useful when he's in the right frame of mind. His passing can be very lack lustre and struggles to maintain the tempo of the game sometimes. Saying that though I think stubbs could have done more with him to push his ability (which he does have) . Hopefully Lennos more no nonsense and keeps on his back for performances, pushing the right buttons. Some players require that.

I disagree with that completely! I think he always gives 100%, but in some games he has a complete nightmare. Even then he never hides though, best game I can think as an example is when we beat Rangers 2-1 at ER last November, the first half Fyvie was terrible, could hardly string a pass together (although he always made himself available for a pass and never hid) and we all wanted him off, then he went on to have a stormer of a centre half, he was everywhere! I also don't think playing him at the base of the diamond helped him, the few games we've seen him further forward (cup final and Saturday) he's been class.

"In some games he has a complete nightmare" so you don't completely disagree with my comment, him being inconsistent. I've watched him countless times have these "nightmare" games, possibly because he was played to deep (and thus probably because he's slow as death) but fact of the matter is, if Fyvies half the player to many people make him out to be he'd be able to adjust to playing anywhere central midfield, be it holding or attacking. As far as I'm concerned if he wants to play further up then he'd better prove his worth consistently as Shinnie plays there very well.

I should have phrased that better, I meant I completely disagree that he sometimes doesn't give 100%. In every game I've seen the lad play he gives 100% even if it's not going his way. It's funny how our form dips when he's out of the team yet he's so bad!? I don't think he wants to play the position Shinnie plays either, he's a box to box player, not an attacking mid like Shinnie or an enforcer like Marv, we get the best out of him when we play him where we did on Saturday and in the cup final, the right side of midfield where he can make runs box to box.
