When I look at the young talent Stubbs has brought to our club and the improvement these same players are making with his coaching, I have to believe that we are going in the right direction. If he can find an out and out goal scorer, I believe he will have put together the best squad I have seen at ER in the past 20yrs!! The guy doesn't only find players, he is tactically aware, It really pisses me off when I here idiots asking if he should be sacked. I think he will prove to be the best manager we have had in a very long time!

Best team in 20 years we are far from it we can hardly beat teams in the this division, are you trying to say this team is better than mowbray's or the team that got us back up to the top fligh but do think Stubbs is doing a job there but he is still a young manager and is only his first senior team of managing and when he was Evertons youth coach most years he finished mid table, he has made good singing and he has also made bad ones. Hopefully we can get another striker and score man than 2 goals in a game

Come on Big L. Stubbsie has a way to go as a manager. Rangers came to ER with a game plan last season that he and his team had no idea how to combat. The sad thing is our club is not interested in building for the future. Bring them in and sell them on and that goes for our manager too. He's so committed to Hibs he shares a flat while he "works away from home". I did too when I worked abroad. No wonder so many of our fans are still so indifferent to what's going on at ER. 8500 is a return to the crowds of the late 70's and 80's. Meanwhile teams like St Johnstone are years ahead of us with a fraction of our resources. And a Scottish cup!! Great potential or not our new team and manager will be gone in two years time. That's a nap!

Hibby007. When I looked at the bench yesterday and seem McGregor and Foster I thought good defensive cover, the mid field is prbably the best part of the team with loads of talent, very imoressed with McGinn. Their are goals in the attack but it would be great to get a really good striker, I also would like a better keeper, I didn't say the best team in 20yrs I said the best squad!

I started reading this thinking who's this delusional guy and surprise, surprise it's Wee L!

We have achieved nothing so far, and ince again, have gotten off to a bad start.

As for being tactically aware, you're having a laugh! He does not know at all how to adapt tactics againsy teams who are stopping us from scoring. He is one track minded in terms of tactics. Mowbray was similar but at least he actually got us up where we should be! Mowbray was a complete class above Stubbs.

As for best in 20 years, Alex Miller was in charge 20 years ago, a manager who fans hated for his terrible football. You really have no clue about the game.

Maybe best squad in the past 5 years but we are still in this league, that face the facts here lads, we are a bad team right now we have a long way to go and I will be surprise if we can get second, I hope I am wrong and we can get second maybe first but we are off to a bad start again and are struggling for goals need a new striker that has proven him self and not taking a gamble on someone, would like a new keeper but Stubbs likes oxley is the man for the job, I like Stubbs and think he is the right man for the job but he struggles with tactics when it's not going his way. Does not know what to do when a team sits back and defends was the problam last season and it looks like it is going to be the same this year
