Would like to believe you as the guy is in great form and surely can play at a higher level than what he is a the moment.

He stayed in a guest house I am working at with his agent on the outskirts of Edinburgh Monday night , left Tuesday morning his agent said to hold talks with a club but would not say what club

OK. Not that I would doubt you, it is a rumours page after all.

Dunfermline will want a fee and even if it`s 50k Petrie isn`t going to pay that when they can get him for nothing on a pre contract in January.

Or he`ll sign for Hearts for sweeties and score 20 goals.

I hope the agent tipped?

I hope he does sign. We certainly need more goals in the team. I'd also like to see a left back, but hey, you can't have everything. Current first team squad is 22 players. Surely room for one or two more, if we really want to stay a "big club" - we can't afford not to go up this season.
