Reading that Stubbs won`t be rushed into signings from the Scott Allan transfer.

Really not surprised, he`s had plenty of time before now.

How can you be positive about our squad? Keeper is poor, the defence isn`t great, midfield is lightweight and upfront there is no cutting edge or any real pace.

So take your time Alan, no pressure on you then. Sunday is massive, absloutley massive and we can`t get beat.

Before anyone says he`s got no money. Yes I agree with you, he`s got zero but look at Inverness, we`ll have abigger budget and they`ve won the cup. Also he knew the script when taking the job so he can`t moan. Get Petrie out!

Petrie1875 I think you're being a wee bit pessimistic this early in the season due to the fact we've got players to return from injury. I agree that ideally our keeper could be better but I think Oxley will improve as he's still relatively inexperienced and yes our defence isn't without flaws. Our midfield will be quality with Fyvie, McGinn, Carmichael, Boyle, Bartley, Henderson and MacGeouch hopefully to choose from. Up front although Cummings isn't the finished article he also will improve, Keatings will have an impact as he's proven at Championship level for the past two seasons and Farid is still to return.I wouldn't say all is lost yet.

You are too pessimistic.
Stubbs is and has made some good signings
Gray, Allan, Carmichael, McGinn, Fyvie, Mcgeouch (fingers crossed), keatings, and likely a cb or two to come.
I agree we could do with a leader on there and a proven striker , whose to say they aren't about to arrive?
Remember we are Chanpionship but operating in Premership wages. Can't be easy attracting the right players and yet he seems to be doing just that.
And yes get Petrie out but c'mon and support yer team and yer manager and let's see where we are come Xmas.
If it's a bag of brown stuff then you can mooooan away.

You say I`m moaning but I say I`m telling you how it is.

You agree that he needs to bring in a leader and a proven striker, do you not think that he should have done that last season? So why with 10 or so days left of the window being open do you think he`ll do it now?

I am supporting my team, that`s why I`m moaning as you put it because someone has to say that it isn`t all great.

Kinda sick fed up now, years after years of pure pish. It`s always been the same. Hibs will never have owners that will spend millions on players but why do we put up with the owners we have now. No other club would. There is no reason why ER couldn`t have 15,000 season ticket holders, just need someone to have 1% of ambition that they have now.

soz guys petries right- never thought i'd type that,
we should be skooshing top six prem and pushing for Europe every year , we don't seem to realise the game has changed and we need bigger stronger players to win consistently at a higher level , the broxy breadman is just copying the type of signings herts made we are sticking with the same busy wee footballers that we can sell on , no ambition second season in a row and ps why after saying we are willing to keep sa has he been sold without a whimper. same old same old from the hibs board , they could have skooshed that league and cup a couple of times if they had paid better wages on the better players we've had over the last 10 yrs,

The Barca team is full of "busy little players" as for getting rid of RP&TF the mechanism is in place, but the current owners knew the shares wouldn't be taken up, it was just a way of bringing in funds and If any clown thinks that anyone will take TOTAL control of Hibs without paying 4 Mill up front and taking on the 5 Mill debt they are dreaming! that's not going to happen, so christ knows where we go from here!
