Stubbs on Hibs TV today said the Mcfadden deal is just talk, he did not rule out something happening in the future but says nothing has been done so far. He also said that we won't be signing Burke or Buxton. Top priority a senior keeper and he wants Cummings to stay. Apparently 3 or 4 players have offers from Hibs they are considering.

I know about Buxton Etc but mcfadden was in talk with hibs so that's nonscence

Like the way Stubbs is handling this and not bowing to pressure to sign just anybody.

Thank god Buxton isn't signing, dodged a massive bullet there. I'd rather bring up youngsters from our youth than sign unknown players from lower leagues of England, hell if there half as good as Stanton and Harris we'd be pretty good.

Alan Stubbs said that he had had no contact with James McFadden, but he wouldn't rule out anything. I don't know how Hibs do things but I would not think that the Coach would negotiate contracts. Rather, the Coach would recommend a player, and the CEO would contact the player (or his agent) and take things from there.
